Nairn's Gluten Free Rosemary & Sea Salt Flatbreads, 150g
A gluten free flatbread with an Italian bread basket flavour: 75% oats, rosemary and sea salt, crisp and savoury.
Nairn's Gluten Free Rosemary & Sea Salt Flatbreads, in brief.
Nairn's Gluten Free Rosemary and Sea Salt Flatbreads are thin, crisp flatbreads made with 75% gluten free wholegrain oats, seasoned with rosemary (2%) and sea salt (2%).
They are a gluten free flatbread for dipping and for soft cheese, with 7.2g of fibre per 100g on the label data. A serving on the label is 12.5g.
Rosemary and sea salt is a classic pairing from the Italian bread basket, and Nairn's puts it on a gluten free oat flatbread. Gluten free wholegrain oats make up three quarters of the recipe, with tapioca and maize starch for crispness and a little brown rice syrup.
The herb and salt sit on top of a nutty oat base, which makes these flatbreads good with olive oil based dips and fresh cheeses.

The story behind Nairn's
Nairn's story begins in 1896, when John and Sarah Nairn opened their bakery in Strathaven, a market town in Lanarkshire. Today Nairn's bakes in Edinburgh, and oats are the whole point: oatcakes rough and fine, cheese oatcakes, seeded and organic oatcakes, and a gluten free range. The oatcake is the Scottish cracker, mostly wholegrain oats with a little oil and salt, baked into a nutty, crumbly round that loves strong cheese; Nairn's Rough Oatcakes list 90% wholegrain oats. The gluten free oatcakes, crackers and flatbreads are made with gluten free oats, and Nairn's own label notes that some people who avoid gluten also react to avenin, a protein in oats.
Packaging: a 150g pack. Once the pack is open, fold it tightly closed or tip the crackers into an airtight tin, and keep them somewhere cool and dry. Damp air is what softens a cracker. The pack gives the best before date.
