Ryvita Original Crispbread Crackers, 250g
Three ingredients and 1g of fat per 100g: the plain rye crispbread, a lean, crunchy base for lunch.
Ryvita Original Crispbread Crackers, in brief.
Ryvita Original Crispbread is made from wholegrain rye flour, rye flour and salt: three ingredients, and nothing else. One slice is 10.5g.
It is one of the leanest crackers we sell, 1g of fat per 100g on the label data, with 13.3g of fibre and 357 kcal per 100g.
This is the rye crispbread in its plainest form. Wholegrain rye flour and rye flour are baked with a little salt into a dense, dry, crunchy slice with a deep, earthy flavour.
With 1g of fat and 2.9g of sugars per 100g on the label data, it adds almost nothing but crunch and grain flavour to whatever you put on it.

The story behind Ryvita
Ryvita began trading on 4 April 1925, when John Edwin Garratt started importing rye crispbread from Scandinavia. The idea caught on: Ryvita opened its own bakery in Birmingham in 1932, and after that factory was destroyed in the Second World War it moved to a new bakery in Poole, Dorset, in 1949, the year it joined Associated British Foods. Rye crispbread is dense, dry and crunchy; Ryvita Original lists just wholegrain rye flour, rye flour and salt. Over the years the range has added Crackerbread in the 1980s, Minis in 2002 and the Thins flatbreads in 2008, and on our shelf you will find crispbreads plain, dark rye, sesame, multigrain and fruit, along with Thins, Snack It Thins and baked Sticks.
Packaging: a 250g pack. Once the pack is open, fold it tightly closed or tip the crackers into an airtight tin, and keep them somewhere cool and dry. Damp air is what softens a cracker. The pack gives the best before date.
