Ryvita Thins Three Cheese Flatbread Crackers, 125g
A thin rye flatbread with 24% cheese baked in: crisp, cheesy and high in protein on the label data.
Ryvita Thins Three Cheese Flatbread Crackers, in brief.
Ryvita Thins Three Cheese are thin flatbread crackers with 24% cheese, extra mature Cheddar, mature Cheddar, Emmental and Regato, and 24% wholegrain rye flour. One thin is 7g.
The cheese makes them rich in protein, 18.7g per 100g on the label data, and the rye adds fibre: 8.7g per 100g.
A lot of cheese goes into these: nearly a quarter of the recipe is cheese, from two Cheddars, Emmental and Regato, a hard cheese in the Italian style. It is baked into a thin flatbread of wheat flour, wholegrain rye flour and wholemeal wheat flour, with onion powder and a little sugar.
The result is a thin, crisp flatbread that tastes strongly of cheese, good on its own or with a dip.

The story behind Ryvita
Ryvita began trading on 4 April 1925, when John Edwin Garratt started importing rye crispbread from Scandinavia. The idea caught on: Ryvita opened its own bakery in Birmingham in 1932, and after that factory was destroyed in the Second World War it moved to a new bakery in Poole, Dorset, in 1949, the year it joined Associated British Foods. Rye crispbread is dense, dry and crunchy; Ryvita Original lists just wholegrain rye flour, rye flour and salt. Over the years the range has added Crackerbread in the 1980s, Minis in 2002 and the Thins flatbreads in 2008, and on our shelf you will find crispbreads plain, dark rye, sesame, multigrain and fruit, along with Thins, Snack It Thins and baked Sticks.
Packaging: a 125g pack. Once the pack is open, fold it tightly closed or tip the crackers into an airtight tin, and keep them somewhere cool and dry. Damp air is what softens a cracker. The pack gives the best before date.
