Ryvita Thins Multi Seed Flatbread Crackers, 125g
Thin, crisp flatbreads with 24% seeds: nutty, high in protein on the label data, and good with Cheddar.
Ryvita Thins Multi Seed Flatbread Crackers, in brief.
Ryvita Thins Multi Seed are thin flatbread crackers with 24% mixed seeds, millet, brown linseed and golden linseed, on a wheat and 10% wholegrain rye base.
The seeds lift the protein to 16.4g per 100g on the label data, with 8.1g of fibre. A serving on the label is 9g.
Nearly a quarter of these thins is seeds, which gives a thin flatbread real texture and a nutty flavour. Millet and two kinds of linseed are scattered through a dough of wheat flour and wholegrain rye, with rapeseed oil and salt.
They are crisp enough for dips and sturdy enough for cheese, and they sit well on a board next to plainer crackers.

The story behind Ryvita
Ryvita began trading on 4 April 1925, when John Edwin Garratt started importing rye crispbread from Scandinavia. The idea caught on: Ryvita opened its own bakery in Birmingham in 1932, and after that factory was destroyed in the Second World War it moved to a new bakery in Poole, Dorset, in 1949, the year it joined Associated British Foods. Rye crispbread is dense, dry and crunchy; Ryvita Original lists just wholegrain rye flour, rye flour and salt. Over the years the range has added Crackerbread in the 1980s, Minis in 2002 and the Thins flatbreads in 2008, and on our shelf you will find crispbreads plain, dark rye, sesame, multigrain and fruit, along with Thins, Snack It Thins and baked Sticks.
Packaging: a 125g pack. Once the pack is open, fold it tightly closed or tip the crackers into an airtight tin, and keep them somewhere cool and dry. Damp air is what softens a cracker. The pack gives the best before date.
